Headline: Magrethea has joined 20th century

(DEB newswire)

Main Story

In an electrifying event Magrethea has had it's connection to SDG&E installed. This means that the Barto project has finally joined the 20th century just in time to see it end. The rural electrification commission, set up to make sure everyone in america had electricity, was equally amazed at this event.

Those who have kept the past issues of the barto house newsletter know that the connection to the electric grid was supposed to happen many years ago. In the third edition of the house newsletter, electricity was supposed to to have been installed back in late 1998. To quote from October 3 1998:

We have been told that the SDG&E power poles will be put in "real soon now", and that the next door neighbors will have 'something' for the city in the near future. I can't wait. They are the hold up right now, if you don't count the fact that we don't have a complete set of blueprints...

The next door neighbors still don't have a set of plans complete from the city of poway, however they have been through the first round of submission and return. When asked, David Barto, owner of Magrethea said "This part of our project took two trys, with success on the second. I hope that they get their plans approved soon."
